Hello and welcome to the temporary home for "The Birds and the Beads" collaborative.
"B&B" is the story of a young Waxwing bird in love. He must overcome competition and self doubt in order to win a female's heart - signified in this community by the passing of handcrafted beads.
Collaboration is vital experience because most of us seek to work in a studio environment. The Academy offers students the chance to work together to produce short films in an effort to build on these essential skills of communication and problem solving.
"B&B" is currently in preproduction. With that said, we are in need of concept art covering several environments, props, as well as character designs. If you are interested in the chance to help jump-start a collaborative project and would like more information, we'd love to hear from you. However, even if you are not a concept artist or storyboard artist and wish to be referred to for future work in the areas of modelling, rigging, lighting, animation, effects, and other various professions, let us know.
